Sanhedrin Rules Prophesied Return Of Jews To Israel Has Been Fulfilled!

News Image

By Tom Olago October 05, 2016

The Jewish people are about to restore and commemorate an ordinance that has been dormant for about 2000 years – almost as far back as the days when Jesus Christ walked the earth. This New Year’s celebration, or Rosh HaShanah, will include the recitation of the Jubilee year-counting mitzvah or Biblical commandment.

In attempting to elucidate the importance of this simple ceremony, Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz of Breaking Israel News quoted the following scripture: “And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a Jubilee unto you” (Leviticus 25:10; The Israel Bible).

Berkowitz explained that counting the Jubilee is a simple mitzvah, reciting just a few lines, but performing this mitzvah is a declaration that the prophesied return of the Jews to Israel has been fulfilled, thereby establishing a basis for the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple.

Unbeknownst to all but a few witnesses, Berkowitz further clarified that as Rosh HaShanah ended eleven months ago, the nascent Sanhedrin concluded months of deliberation by ruling that certain conditions had been met requiring the Nation of Israel to begin counting the Jubilee cycle. Rabbi Avraham Dov Ben Shor recited the blessing and the 49-year cycle began again.

When Rosh HaShanah – the Jewish New Year – ends on the evening of Tuesday 4th October, it will be time for Jews to count the second year of the Jubilee cycle. The blessing and the count are as follows:

“Blessed art Thou, Lord our God, King of the Universe, Who sanctifies us in His commandments, and has commanded us to count the sabbaticals and the Jubilees”.

This year is the second year of the first Jubilee, and the second year for the first sabbatical in the first Jubilee.

It is also worthy to note the central role that has been played by the Sanhedrin in these developments. According to Wikipedia.com, the Sanhedrin was an “assembly” or “council” of twenty-three to seventy-one men appointed in every city in the Land of Israel.

On October 13, 2004 the Sanhedrin, the highest religious tribunal of the Jewish state, was re-inaugurated by a group of rabbis in Tiberias after 1,600 years of absence.

In the Hebrew Bible, Moses and the Israelites were commanded by God to establish courts of judges who were given full authority over the people of Israel, who were commanded by God to obey every word the judges instructed and every law they established. Judges in ancient Israel were the religious leaders and Teachers of the nation of Israel.

The Sanhedrin is mentioned in the Gospels in relation to the trial of Jesus and several times in the Acts of the Apostles.

Specific conditions outlined in Jewish law had to be considered by the Sanhedrin before reinstating this mitzvah. Unlike most Torah commandments being observed today, which are incumbent on an individual, the Jubilee is a national mitzvah. Its observance is dependent upon most of the Jewish people being in the land of Israel.

To begin counting the Jubilee last year, the Sanhedrin, as a bet din (rabbinic court), ruled that the Jews have returned to inherit the land as a nation, and not just as individuals. This requires at least 600,000 Jews, equal to the number of Israelites that returned to Israel from Egypt under Joshua.

Israel has far exceeded the required number for quite some time. On the eve of this Jewish new year, the State of Israel has a population of 8.585 million, 172,000 more than the same time last year.

Jews make up close to three-quarters of the population at 6.4 million residents, while Israel’s almost 1.8 million Arabs make up one-fifth of the population.  In the past year alone, 25,000 new Jewish immigrants arrived in Israel.

Rabbi Hillel Weiss, spokesman for the Sanhedrin, explained to Breaking Israel News, “The Sanhedrin ruled that we are now clearly in the prophesied third inheritance of the land, the first being by Joshua, the second after the Babylonian exile.”

There are 5 mitzvot connected to the Jubilee: counting the Jubilee, letting free slaves, returning land, blowing the shofar, and forgiving debts,” Rabbi Weiss explained. “We have reinstituted one: the counting of the Jubilee.”

To signify the reinstitution of the Jubilee, and also to commemorate the Jubilee of Jerusalem, the Sanhedrin has issued a medallion. One side is engraved with an image of Solomon’s Temple, flanked by two shofars, symbolizing the Jubilee.

The other side shows a lit seven-branched menorah, two cherubim, and a Hebrew inscription stating that the third inheritance of the land of Israel by the Jews has officially been declared. The Sanhedrin is selling the medallion and setting aside the proceeds for use in the Third Temple.

“Sale of this medallion will serve as the basis for the mitzvah of the half-shekel, which was collected from every Jewish male,” Rabbi Hillel Weiss explained.

“As such, the money will go towards acquiring animals, grain, oil, and wine, for sacrificial purposes. It will also be used for building and maintaining the temple.”

Messianic Soldiers In The Israeli Army: Bolder Than Ever About Their Faith

News Image

By Kehila News Israel March 07, 2016

Kehila News Israel (KNI) brings you the first published survey online of Messianic Jews serving in the Israeli army or IDF (Israeli Defense Forces).
KNI conducted the survey in cooperation with several local ministries that organize conferences and Bible studies on weekends for hundreds of Messianic soldiers currently serving in the IDF. All Israelis, men aged 18 to 21 and women aged 18 to 20, are required to do some form of military or community service.
This means that thousands of Messianic Israelis Jewish and non-Jewish, men and women have shared in the Israeli army experience at one time or another. We are especially proud of our soldiers who are facing the challenges of today, which are more complex than ever before.
From the survey results, it is clear that openness about Yeshua (Jesus) in the Israeli army is indeed the new “normal”. Of those Messianic soldiers asked by KNI, a remarkable 96% say that their fellow soldiers know of their belief in Yeshua as the Messiah.
Possibly even more remarkable is that 78% of their commanders or officers know of their belief in Yeshua. This is certainly a generation that is bolder than ever in sharing and living their faith!

But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known,

to which the Law and the Prophets testify.

This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.

There is no difference between Jew and Gentile,

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

and all are justified freely by his grace

through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement,

through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith.

He did this to demonstrate his righteousness,

because in his forbearance

he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—

he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time,

so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

Rabbi receives important message for Jewish people …

Rabbi Receives Heavenly Message in the Cave of Elijah the Prophet

“And he came there to the cave, and he lodged there. And behold! The word of the Lord came to him. And He said to him: “What are you doing here, Elijah?” (1 Kings 19:9)

On the morning of Tuesday, June 9, Israeli mystic Rabbi Amram Vaknin, led a prayer service at the Cave of Elijah the Prophet in Haifa, Israel, along with approximately 30 Jewish men and 30 Jewish women, to pray for the welfare of the Jewish people.

Gil Nachman, an aide to the Rabbi and an eyewitness, told Breaking Israel News that at approximately 11:30 AM, Rabbi Amram Vaknin suddenly fell to the ground, into the mud and water on the floor of the cave.

In this world, Rabbi Vaknin was lying on the floor, but what happened in that cave, according to Nachman, “was above this world. The rabbi received a message for the Jewish people from Eliyahu haNavi (Elijah the Prophet) that there is a decree from Heaven that war will be starting in the south of Israel, will move to the north of Israel and will continue inside of Israel. Thousands of people will die, God-forbid.”

All Jewish people throughout the world are being urgently requested to unite, to pray together in groups, to fast and to give charity in order to avert this decree. Jews are being urged to direct the power of their prayer to beg God to have mercy on the Jewish nation.

Further, according to Nachman, people are being asked to polish their character traits, their fear of Heaven and to improve their interpersonal interactions, in order to change the decree in Heaven.

In an interview with Breaking Israel News, Nachman, speaking for Rabbi Vaknin, passionately appealed to the Jewish people to unite. “We have to be together! No matter what a person wears on the outside, we have to have the intention to love one another.”

Yehudis Schamroth of Beit Shemesh, Israel began attending Rabbi Vaknin’s prayer gatherings six months ago. She told Breaking Israel News, “I first went to Rabbi Vaknin for brachot (blessings) for me and my family. He took a genuine interest in me in a grandfatherly way. He became especially animated in conversation when I asked him how I could help bring along the geula (the final redemption of the Jewish people).”

Rabbi Vaknin, a 76 year-old mystic who lives in striking poverty in the port city of Ashdod, comes from a family of mystics. His mother and his grandmother had the same gift of receiving revelations from Heaven.

Through these messages, Rabbi Vaknin accurately predicted the “Gaza Freedom Flotilla” in May, 2010, the deadly fire in the Carmel forest in December of 2010 as well as Operation Pillar of Defense in 2012 and Operation Protective Edge in 2014.

In the coming days, Rabbi Vaknin is expect to announce a large prayer gathering in Israel. Although a video of the revelation was posted to Facebook, it is difficult to understand. Nachman told Breaking Israel News that some Hebrew subtitles have been added..

The location where this message was received by Rabbi Vaknin is significant. The cave is the very place where God spoke to Elijah when he was hiding from King Ahab and Queen Jezebel.

Further, in Jewish tradition, it will be Elijah the Prophet who announces the ultimate redemption of the Jewish people.

Prophecy Connection(From BibleGateway.com)  Now Ahab told Jezebel everything Elijah had done and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword. So Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah to say, “May the gods deal with me, be it ever so severely, if by this time tomorrow I do not make your life like that of one of them.”

Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there,  while he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness. He came to a broom bush, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.” Then he lay down under the bush and fell asleep.

All at once an angel touched him and said, “Get up and eat.” He looked around, and there by his head was some bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and then lay down again.

The angel of the Lord came back a second time and touched him and said, “Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you.” So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God. There he went into a cave and spent the night.

And the word of the Lord came to him: “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

He replied, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.”

The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.”

Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.

Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

He replied, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.”

The Lord said to him, “Go back the way you came, and go to the Desert of Damascus. When you get there, anoint Hazael king over Aram. Also, anoint Jehu son of Nimshi king over Israel, and anoint Elisha son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah to succeed you as prophet. Jehu will put to death any who escape the sword of Hazael, and Elisha will put to death any who escape the sword of Jehu. Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel—all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him.”  (1 Kings 19:1-18, New International Version)

The cabinet approved a special NIS 180 million ($46 million) budget on Sunday to finance the costs of absorbing thousands of new immigrants expected to arrive in Israel this year from Ukraine, France and Belgium.

“We are telling our Jewish brothers and sisters that Israel is your home,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during the cabinet meeting. “We are bracing ourselves and calling for a mass immigration from Europe.”

Under the Law of Return, all Jewish immigrants to Israel are entitled to a package of financial benefits. The government expects the sharp upward trend evident in immigration from Ukraine, France and Belgium last year to strengthen even further in the coming year. In Ukraine, this increase has been attributed to the political turmoil in the country, while in France and Belgium, it has been associated with a combination of rising anti-Semitism and a weak economy….

Yemen’s last Jews eye exodus after Islamist militia takeover

SANAA (Reuters) – A few worried families are all that remain of Yemen’s ancient Jewish community, and they too may soon flee after a Shi’ite Muslim militia seized power in the strife-torn country this month.

Harassment by the Houthi movement – whose motto is “Death to America, death to Israel, curse the Jews, victory to Islam” – caused Jews in recent years to largely quit the northern highlands they shared with Yemen’s Shi’ites for millennia.

But political feuds in which the Jews played no part escalated last September into an armed Houthi plunge into the capital Sanaa, the community’s main refuge from which some now contemplate a final exodus.

Around six Yemeni Jews from the same family arrived in Israel on Friday, members of the community told Reuters.

“Since last September, our movements have become very limited for fear of the security situation, and there are some members of the community who preferred to leave Yemen,” sighed chief rabbi Yahya Youssef, sitting in his apartment within a walled compound next to ministry of defense.

Netanyahu urges Jews to move to Israel after Copenhagen attacks
February 15, 2015

Jerusalem (AFP) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday urged European Jews to move to Israel after a Jewish man was killed in an attack outside Copenhagen’s main synagogue.

“Israel is your home. We are preparing and calling for the absorption of mass immigration from Europe,” Netanyahu said in a statement, repeating a similar call after attacks by jihadists in Paris last month when four Jews were among the dead.

Two police officers were also wounded in Sunday’s attack in Copenhagen, one of two fatal shootings in the normally peaceful Danish capital on the weekend.

In the first attack on Saturday, a 55-year-old man was killed at a panel discussion about Islam and free speech attended by a Swedish cartoonist behind controversial caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed.

“Extremist Islamic terrorism has struck Europe again… Jews have been murdered again on European soil only because they were Jews,” Netanyahu said in the statement.

The Israeli prime minister said his government was to adopt a $45 million (39.5 million euro) plan “to encourage the absorption of immigrants from France, Belgium and Ukraine”.

“To the Jews of Europe and to the Jews of the world I say that Israel is waiting for you with open arms,” Netanyahu said.

He had made a similar call after three days of bloodshed in Paris that started with the January 7 attack on satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo where 12 people were gunned down, followed the next day by the shooting death of a policewoman just outside the city….

PROPHECY CONNECTION …

Then [the Lord God] said to me [Ezekiel]: ‘Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, “Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.”  Therefore prophesy and say to them: “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel.  Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.”‘

“… ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land.  I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms. They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and vile images or with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful backsliding, and I will cleanse them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.

“‘… They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your ancestors lived. They and their children and their children’s children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever. I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever.  My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people.

“‘Then the nations will know that I the Lord make Israel holy, when my sanctuary is among them forever.’”

France’s Multiculturalist Agenda Makes Jews Pack Their Bags

As more French Jews face anti-Semitic attacks, many are leaving for Israel. Most of the attacks have come from Muslims, whether immigrants or French-born, many of whom have not assimilated into French society – if not rejecting French society entirely. Compounding the dangerous situation, France’s left-wing government refuses to acknowledge the scope of this crisis, apparently more afraid of losing Muslim votes they depend on than in defending France’s half-million Jews.

Israel’s Ministry of Immigrant Absorption is expecting “Little Paris” neighborhoods to pop up all over Tel Aviv, Netanya, and Jerusalem. According to the Jewish Agency, French Jews have become the number-one immigrant group to Israel. In 2014, more than 7,000 French Jews emigrated, twice the number from 2013. Israeli Minister of Immigrant Absorption Sofa Landver said she expects about 10,000 new French immigrants next year.

That’s an astounding 20,000 French Jews moving to Israel, or four percent of that community emigrating in just three years.

Further, a poll conducted the Paris-based Siona organization of Sephardic French Jews found that 74 percent of the 3,833 respondents are considering leaving France.

It’s more accurate to say that French Jews are fleeing France rather than just moving to Israel. The failure of multiculturalism and the inability of many Muslim immigrants to assimilate into French society have promoted intolerance of Jews.

I will make my holy name known among my people Isra’el; I will not allow my holy name to be profaned any longer. Three planeloads of Ukrainian Jews sponsored by the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews will land in Israel in the coming weeks, The Jerusalem Post learned on Sunday.

According to IFCJ founder Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, the new immigrants will each receive a monetary payment from the interfaith group as well as help in navigating Israeli bureaucracy and job placement services once they arrive.

Eckstein, whose organization is currently running a refugee facility in Zhitomir for Jews who have escaped the rebel cities of Luhansk and Donetsk, said that many of those who had escaped the Moscow-backed insurgency, expressed a desire to emigrate.

“Many of them have said ‘okay a week ago I wasn’t ready to go on aliya, now I am,’” he said, claiming that Ukraine’s worsening economy and the doubts that many refugees have about being able to safely return to their homes has contributed to increased interest in coming to Israel.

“I am hoping to double the number of immigrants coming from the Ukraine this year over last year,” he said. The IFCJ wants to “get as many people to Israel while the iron is hot and to make it as easy and as user friendly as possible.”
